Anacyclus Depressus

This charming little alpine forms mats of ferny, grey green foliage, which will colonise rocky crevices, creep over walls and along the edges of gravelly, Mediterranean borders as well as making a pretty specimen for an alpine container. In spring to early summer, it produces plentiful red buds which open to classic white daisies with a yellow eye, the red undersides of the petals creating a two-tone effect and showing themselves fully when the flowers close in the evening. Height: 10cm (4”). Spread: 30cm (12”).
