Phlox Paniculata ‘Famous Purple’

Blooming 2-3 weeks earlier than other paniculata varieties, Phlox paniculata ‘Famous Purple’ forms soft, low, pillowy mounds of large, purple, fragrant flowers with a white eye. It provides early colour on neatly compact plants with a long blooming season, producing its large flower clusters profusely from June to September. Perfect for small borders, front-of-border positions or containers in urban courtyards and patios. Exhibits good tolerance to mildew. Height and spread: 40cm (16in).
