Salvia ‘Royal Bumble’

From late summer, the fiery, open mouthed, scarlet blooms of Salvia x jamensis ‘Royal Bumble’ are carried on wiry, dark purple stems. Small, aromatic green leaves crowd the bushy stems to form a rounded, dense mound. This perennial Salvia makes a fabulous container plant, and works hard in sunny borders where it will attract masses of bees and butterflies. Although perennial, this half hardy Salvia will appreciate some protection from winter weather. Height: 75cm (29″). Spread: 50cm (20″).
